Music for all occasions
The Ensemble Ritae
Under the direction of Marguerite France, the Ensemble offers performances at a professional level of performance
Born in Paris, Marguerite France began her musical studies at the age of three. As a first place graduate of the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique, Marguerite France ranks among her achivements a second place prize from the prestigious Concours International dÕExecution Musicale de Geneve.
In Japan since 1975, she continues to perform as a soloist and chamber musician, and is President and founder of the International School of Music ÒSolfran,Ó and the ÒAssociation Franco-Japonaise des Amis de la Musique.Ó
Marguerite France also teached at the Conservatories of Musashino, Geidai, and Tamagawa.
The repertoire of the Ensemble ranges from Baroque to contemporary, and performances reflect a profound understanding of the historical background of the music. Although the ensemble occasionally performs under a full orchestral format (for operas, ballets, concerto accompaniments) it specializes in performances of a more intimate nature, and with fewer musicians.
The Ensemble Ritae performs with a minimum of two persons, and a maximum of thirty-three. Within the repertoire of the ensemble can be found pieces like the concertos for violin by Rameau and Vivaldi, Bach's double concerto, Mozart's quartets for flute, The Magic Flute for violin and flute, Beethoven's Serenade, Haydn's London Trios, etc...Waiting for your request !
